Pariah application is named after the Indian Pariah dog breed.
An educational app for people to know about stray dogs in their locality. It is designed for the residents of India and dog lovers who care and show concern about stray dogs.
Why Pariah app.?
It is an application that would provide an opportunity for dog lovers, to help stray dogs.
It will educate our society to alleviate their perceptions and fears while handling the strays.
People who want to help these dogs do not have easy access to various resources like; Vets, shelters, emergency care, etc.
Also, there is a perception about the stray dogs being untouchables (Pariah breed named after an old tribe during British Indian rule) that leads to street brutalities and less concerned responsible authorities.

Pariah is bringing people together to put fear at bay while dealing with stray dogs. It also allows the user to share their experiences and concerns within the community to build a healthy awareness about stray dogs.

Pariah also provides easy access to various aids for stray dogs like vets, chemists, shelters, and new food spots created by locals.
Even a Stray Needs an Identity
Due to a lack of information about stray dogs, managing, supporting, and caring for them becomes a tedious task overall. There is a need to create a directory for stray dogs so people identify them in their respective localities.

One of the most important features of Pariah helps the user to build a directory of stray dogs in the locality of each of the users. This way the focus group of stray dogs is divided by localities. Location Awareness, Face Recognition, and auto profile matching allow users to seamlessly identify stray dogs in the locality. Map view lets the user identify regular hangout/resting spots of the stray dog.
SOS Emergency
A single emergency button can let the user connect directly to a specific help. The user doesn’t have to go through numerous SOS options online, not knowing which to trust in the shortest given time. Plus, it even saves time when Pariah connects its users who are new to dealing with dog emergencies. The user can track the emergency arrival, so the user knows the arrival time. Also if they choose to be contacted regarding any health developments of the stray dog.
Community
Share thoughts, live videos, photos, etc to build a sense of community for the stray dogs. Add a new food spot and share them with the locality, friends, and others in the community.
